News of the day - "Pet Care on the Go" first aid kit at Radio Kraków!

There are meetings that start by chance and then turn out to be so natural, as if they were written in the stars. This is how our story with Radio Kraków began – from one interview to the day when the yellow first aid kit found its permanent home within the walls of this radio station.
May, our first appearance at Klinika Zdrowego Chomika
It all started with a visit to the Klinika Zdrowego Chomika broadcast, where we were guests of Grzegorz Bernasik. It was then, for the first time, that we told the listeners about our mission - that first aid for animals is as important as first aid for people. We talked about why a yellow first aid kit should become an indispensable element of every animal guardian's equipment.
The history of the yellow first aid kit was just beginning, and the #PetCareOnTheGo project was barely budding. At that time, we were mainly thinking about houses and cars - about having first aid kits always at hand in case of an emergency. But as is often the case with good ideas, they quickly began to grow like weeds.
The begening of "Pet Care on the Go" idea
If pet owners should have first aid kits, why couldn't they be in places where they stay with their pets? Hotels, restaurants, airports, gas stations, shopping malls, grooming salons... The list grew, and with it - our desire for yellow first aid kits to be everywhere. Their presence in public spaces became a priority for us.
And so, unnoticed, in August we inaugurated the first in Poland and the world, the "Pet Care on the Go" first aid kit for dogs and cats. Where? Of course, in Krakow! We talked about it during our second visit to the Klinika, announcing that we were just getting started.
Education, support and next steps
Our next goal was to support organizations that help animals – not only by equipping them with first aid kits, but also with beds, insulating mats and first aid training for volunteers. Because the first aid kit itself is just the beginning. Real change begins when people know how to use it and how to take care of the safety of our pets.
To be compliant with "You want it - You get it" rule, our last visit so far was about exactly that – education and support for organizations, which we are currently strongly focusing on in the #ZNapędemNa4łapy project.
This time there was real fanfare!
Because the occasion was exceptional. The “Pet Care on the Go” first aid kit has taken up permanent residence at Radio Kraków – ready to be used if any of the radio’s four-legged guests needs it.
We couldn’t have dreamed of a better place. After all, this is where our idea had its media debut, this is where we could tell about the yellow first aid kits and their mission for the first time.
Is this the end of the story? Absolutely not!
